FN Fun Run … What is it?
Whether you want to run 3 leisurely miles or a no-pressure half marathon, the FN (Friday Night) Fun Run is exactly where you want to be! Held on Friday nights once a month, the FN Fun Run is a fun event for all levels and types of runners who want to meet new running friends and enjoy the experience. Created by Ryan Borucki and Cory Malecki, the 13.1 mile run is three loops — starting with a 5K, then a 6 or 7 miler, ending with 3-4 miles. What’s even better is the after-party, held at the meeting location for the runs (the host’s home). Friday night runs start at 7 p.m. and are held in Oshkosh one month, Menasha the next. See the calendar for details.
The FN Fun Run also hosts the annual Terrell’s Island Run, where you have the opportunity to run 2, 4, or 6 hours with all runners ending at the same time. Runners run 3.7-mile loops and have access to food/water/aid stations along the way. The after-party is a fun event bringing together all of the runners together, whether you ran your first 5 miles or completed your first ultra that day. Don’t miss this event!
